40 Judo contestants this year - a new record      Weapons competition adds different dimension

Eve and I, Master and Mrs. Thompson, both Master Kirt and Dru Wagner, want to thank everyone for all their effort and help in putting on the Big Sky State Games this year.  All of you who volunteered and participated in the tournament showed excellent poise and determination!  The MAAB Judo competitors were phenomenal in their matches, but most important, they had smiles whether they won their matches or not.  There were many compliments from visiting athletes and parents on how nice the tournament was conducted and how friendly everyone was.  That is a compliment to all of you!  A special thank you to the MAAB Booster Club for getting table workers and referees water and food.  The fact that there were over 120 competitors and we were done by 2 PM is a testament to how hard you all worked.
